PIPEKIT Supplies Maxglow Ltd In Refurbishment Project At Heathrow Airport Terminal Four

Pipekit has recently supported existing customer Maxglow Ltd in the refurbishment project of a toilet block at Heathrow Airport Airside Terminal Four. Geberit HDPE products, along with McAlpine waste fittings were specified, supplied, and fitted as part of an ongoing upgrade programme by facilities management company T4 Mitie FM.

Geberit HDPE and McAlpine waste fittings were selected by Maxglow Ltd as they were approved materials and products for the Heathrow project, in addition to the fact that they offered high quality and robust resistance to offer security in the high traffic area of the toilet block. The products are also lightweight and quick to install, which also provided contractor Maxglow Ltd a significant advantage in meeting the two-week, tight time scale of the refurbishment project.

Pipekit is an independent distributor of specialist pipework systems and drainage solutions and stocks and supplies various leading brands under one roof. Being able to utilise this one stop shop feature was a big advantage for Maxglow Ltd, and they selected Pipekit as the supplier of the project specifically because of the good and professional service they experienced on previous work schemes.

Commenting on the project, Steve Arnett Director at Maxglow Ltd said: “We have worked alongside Pipekit previously and have been impressed with its range of leading brands and products, as well as the high-quality customer service. The team is professional and offers a high level of expertise and industry knowledge, which offers peace of mind during the entire order fulfilment process”.

Maxglow Ltd is a plumbing, heating, and drainage specialist in both the commercial and domestic environments including L8 improvement works, and are based in Hayes, Middlesex. Pipekit’s South East sales and customer service team handled the Maxglow Ltd requirements from the initial enquiry through to delivery and after care, and summing up the project Martyn Rowlands, Managing Director from Pipekit said: “It was great to support the team at Maxglow to meet the drainage and waste requirements of the toilet refurbishment project at Heathrow Terminal Four. It’s always rewarding to gain repeat business from existing customers, and we look forward to being able to work alongside Maxglow Ltd in future projects”
