Are my personal and credit card details safe when ordering online?

A. Of course, Pipekit use Sagepay, a specialist payment gateway for taking payment . No card details are held by us or on our server. The Pipekit website is PCIDSS certified through Security Metrics and HSBC Merchant Services so all personal details are secure

Am I getting a quality product?

Of course, at Pipekit we only offer product from reputable and established manufacturers, who conform to all the relevant standards and approvals for the products they offer. All products for use with drinking water are fully WRAS and Drinking Water Inspectorate approved.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

Yes. During the online order process you can select to have the order shipped to an alternative address.

Do you have a minimum order value?

No. However, a carriage charge is payable for lower value orders. Please refer to our delivery and returns page.

How will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered by a recognised national carrier or by us.

How are fittings packaged?

Fittings will be packed in strong cardboard packaging with delivery note.

A full VAT invoice will be e-mailed to you on despatch of your goods

How is pipe delivered?

A. Drain pipe is delivered in 3.0M lengths, strapped together with delivery note and invoice attached.

Pressure pipe is supplied in 5.0M or 6.0M lengths, strapped together with delivery note attached.

Pressure pipe can be cut into shorter lengths for easier shipment if required or requested

What is prefabrication and why choose it?

Prefabrication service delivers bespoke, factory-built drainage stacks and plumbing kits—pressure-tested, quality-checked, and delivered ready-to-install—to significantly speed up on-site build times and reduce labour costs.

What trade account options are available?

At Pipekit, we offer credit accounts to customers who place regular and consistent orders. In some cases, trading via credit card or proforma invoice may be more convenient or cost-effective. Our credit approval process is straightforward, with clear criteria to help make the setup quick and hassle-free.

What is a WRAS certification?

WRAS is an approval in the UK provided by the Water Regulations Approval Scheme to help prevent contamination, misuse or waste of public water.

Products with this certification have been tested and certified by labs deeming them safe to directly connect to UK water supplies. These products are therefore legally allowed for use with the UK mains water.

What is ISO 4144?

The ISO 4144 classification is an international standard specifically used for stainless steel pipe fittings with threaded connections.

It guaranteed the interchangeability of these fittings making sure they have safe connections and giving consumers confidence that they have suitable corrosion resistance.

What is PrEN 10344?

This is a European standard relating to steel pipes covering tensile strength, flattening and flaring, bend, leak tightness and non destructive testing.

These testing requirements ensure the strength, safety and leak-tightness of steel pipe.

What is BS 5391?

The BS 5391 standard is the requirement for ABS pressure pipe, specifically those that transport liquids and gases. Those products that carry this standard can be used for drinking water.
