Irritec MDPE Compression Fittings

Irritec MDPE Compression Fittings can be used for high pressure water and gas applications making them ideal for the plumbing and heating sectors. They are widely used in plumbing, gas distribution, hydro-sanitary systems, industrial settings, and agricultural irrigation. They are manufactured with advanced technology and comply with the strictest international standards, guaranteeing high levels of safety and mechanical performance.

They allows the maximum working pressure ( PN~PFA*) of 16 bar (UNI 9561) for diameters from 16mm to 63mm, and PN10 for diameters from 75mm to 110mm, at the temperature of 20 °C. Maximum allowable working pressures is related to the duration of pressure and temperature.

Materials

• Body - Heterophasic black polypropylene (PP-B) of exceptional mechanical properties even at high temperature.
• Blocking bush - Polypropylene
• Nut - Polypropylene with dye master of high stability to UV rays and solidity to heat
• Clinching ring - Polyacetal resin (POM) of high mechanical resistance and hardness
• Gasket - special elastomeric acrylonitrile rubber (NBR) and Ethylene-Propylene Diene Monomer rubber (EPDM) for alimentary use
• Reinforcing ring - Stainless steel AISI 430 for female threads from 1” ¼ to 4”
